Jan 21, 2015- Round 1: The Video Pitch
Jan 21-31, 2015 - Judging for Round 1 takes place
Feb 1-4, 2015 - Teams will be informed if they moved to the next round
Feb 18-22, 2015 - Mentoring of the 10 selected teams
Feb 23-27, 2015 - Round 2: The Investor Pitch
March 2, 2015 - Judging for Round 2 takes place
March 4 - May 4, 2015 - Incubation
All five teams are given the opportunity of free space at the @iBizAfrica incubation facilities run by Strathmore University's @iLabAfrica. In addition, teams will have access to mentorship and an extensive support system from both universities.
May 8, 2015 - Round 3: The Investment Committee Pitch
May, 2015 - The Winning Team is announced!
The further a team progresses through the stages of the competition, the more access it will have to learning modules, peer and mentor connections for collaboration, industry partners for additional resources, and continuous feedback.

- Teams submit a 90 second video pitch outlining their idea
Jan 21-31, 2015 - Judging for Round 1 takes place
- Ten teams will qualify and move to the next round
Feb 1-4, 2015 - Teams will be informed if they moved to the next round
Feb 18-22, 2015 - Mentoring of the 10 selected teams
Feb 23-27, 2015 - Round 2: The Investor Pitch
- Teams present a short virtual pitch describing how their idea can be turned into a business. More details will be provided closer to the date
March 2, 2015 - Judging for Round 2 takes place
- Five teams will be selected and move to the third and final round
March 4 - May 4, 2015 - Incubation

May 8, 2015 - Round 3: The Investment Committee Pitch
- Teams virtually present a business plan based on the feedback they received in the last round
- The business plan must include: 1) The Problem, 2) Value Proposition, 3) Business Model, 4) Financials, 5) Management Team
- Pitches are presented via web conferencing tools to judges from Kenya and Canada
May, 2015 - The Winning Team is announced!
